Have you ever heard of a child being potty trained before they walk?? I think this is going to be the case with my darling little girl. Norah is now 16 months old and refuses to walk on her own. She's just not willing to try. She walks circles around furniture. She has a little stroller and shopping cart that she loves to walk with and push around, but when we try to make her do it on her own she just plops to the ground. I'm starting to wonder at what point do I worry. She's developing well in all other areas. Her favorite thing to say is, "Uh oh, spaghettio!", and that's a hard word to say. She is very smart. She just
won't walk. I know she could do it if she'd just try. I see all these other babies that are months younger than her walking on their own. But, I bet they aren't going potty on the toilet! Norah absolutely loves sitting on the potty. She crawls to it and claps and smiles the whole time she's on it, and she'll pee every time. I put her on it at least twice a day if not more. At this rate, she'll be completely potty trained in no time. I just have to keep telling myself that each child is different and they all do things differently. I'm just going to stop worrying!

Here are a few bonus pictures. Hunter and Norah on Christmas Eve in their new Christmas jammies.

We visited Temple Square to see the lights with some good friends the Tuesday before Christmas. I can't believe how packed it was. People were everywhere. I love the spirit of Christmas. Hunter now really understands what Christmas is all about. He knows we celebrate it because Jesus was born. He never ceases to amaze me with all the things he knows and comprehends. I'm so grateful for all that our Savior did for us and that we can be a forever family!

The man of my dreams!!

What a beautiful little family! Little Nora is just fine! I'm proud of you for the potty training thing! Good work and dedication! Hunter and Nora are both beautiful -- as well as you and Greg! Fun visiting your blog!
It sounds like Nora is going to be one of those kids who dose things on her own time frame. Don't worry! She is such a doll.
Hey there! What a little cutie on her potty. I bet she'll skip walking altogether and just run through life.
I can't believe she is going potty all ready. She is so cute, I love the Christmas pictures and the ice fishing pictures. Hunter is pretty good.
Can you come potty train MY kid? She's almost three and usually has zero interest in it.
